it is with new technology that enables to give the content more fast and accurate.


I.S.R.O launched BHUVAN:
Isro(Indian Space Research Organisation) launched the new mapping service named 'bhuvan'(in sanskrit means divine earth) which is a strong counter threat to Google Earth(http://earth.google.com) and wikimapia(http://wikimapia.com). This service can be accessed from the portal http://www.bhuvan.nrsc.gov.in
Apart from all mapping services prevailed the service will update every year which enable recent contents. It is mainly concentrated on indian subcontinent. Bhuvan gives us the data upto 5 meters from the surface of earth (google earth gives only the data upto 200 m and wikipedia upto 50 m).
This service can be only be accessed after filling the registration form and installing the plugin which available on the site..

Doodle 4 Google competition:
Google announced that a competition is being conducted on the doodle on 'childrens day' on the theme 'my india'. Participants can be registered there names in www.google.co.in/doodle4google
